STEAMED CARAMEL BREAD PUDDING RECIPE (Without Oven and Egg)

 Below is a simple yet stunning dessert recipe for smooth and delicate steamed bread pudding coated with caramel sauce on top 🍮



INGREDIENTS:

▪️ Bread - 2 big slices
▪️ Milk- 3 cups
▪️ Sugar- 4 tbsp
▪️ Sweetened Condensed Milk- 1/4 cup
▪️ Custard Powder- 2 tbsp
▪️ Ghee/Butter


INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Add 3 tbsp sugar in a pan and continue to stir it in medium flame until it melts down to golden brown colour. Make sure not to burn it.

2. Transfer the caramel to a greased bowl.

3.Take bread in a blender and grind it to fine powder.

4. In a pan boil milk. Keep stirring the milk in between.

5. Take 2 tbsp milk in a small bowl and add custard powder and mix to a smooth Paste.

6. Add this to the boiling milk and keep stirring continuously until it becomes thick.

7. Now add the powdered bread slices and mix. Add sugar and condensed milk.

8. Pour the custard bread mix on top of the caramel in the greased bowl.

8. Preheat a pressure cooker or wok and place a stand in it. Add water to it.

9. Place the caramel bread mix over the stand and cover the bowl. Now cover the wok/pressure cooker as well.

10. Let it get cooked for 30 mins.

11. Remove it and insert a knife to check whether the cake is done or not.

12. After the bowl cools down refrigerate it for 2 hours.

13. Flip it to another Plate.

14. Slice and serve.
